Right here, right now

Everything is the dynamic energy of the basic state and nothing else. Right here, wide open stability is forever free, completely content. Just as a wave in the ocean can't separate from the vastness of the water itself, so too the vastness of the basic state is never changing and can't get out of itself - no matter how tumultuous it seems. Everything is your friend, your complete ally - the basic state. The basic state is not caused by anything, nor effected by point of view in any way whatsoever. The basic state is all there is and there is no one experiencing it. There is not point of view and the basic state. All is the basic state.

No barriers

No fear! Labeling something as fear is another point of view appearing within awareness. It does not matter what thoughts, emotions, sensations, or experiences there are, everything is fine as it is. Point of view is not out to get you, all points of view are empty and insubstantial, there is nothing to get and no one to get at. There is only the basic state. Each short moment of rest allows for gaining confidence in the fundamental stability in which you respond from in any given moment, without effort. There is no barrier or limitation. The basic state is always wide open and free.

This leaves us with the skillful means and wisdom to easily relate and communicate effectively.
Benefit as wisdom are the core movements of awareness.

Thank you to all resting friends – those who choose to go beyond what they think they know, those who choose to be open to all opportunities and circumstances. No tactics

Tactics to counter point of view in order to make circumstances better are a temporary strategy to impermanent well-being. Applying tactics or strategies to point of view in order to feel better is like trying to push around space.

Applying meaning to point to view comes from applying a reference point based on what we think something means, usually learned from other people or past experience.

The perfection of the basic state right now, is not linked in any way to anything separate. There is not a connect the dot pattern of cause-and-effect. There is only the basic state, in which nothing is going on. The basic state has never been involved in any point of view and is perfect just as it is.

Pervasive well-being

Recognizing the basic state of awareness as your true identity does not mean that thoughts, feelings and circumstances go away or that you experience being happy all of the time.

Pervasive well-being within all thoughts, feelings, emotions and circumstances is true happiness, contentment and stability no matter what is coming down.

Pervasive well-being in anger
Pervasive well-being in sadness
Pervasive well-being in happiness
Pervasive well-being in physical pain
Pervasive well-being in stress
Pervasive well-being in anxiety
Pervasive well-being in irritation
Pervasive well-being in interesting experiences
Pervasive well-being in point of view.

The only way to know this, is in the instinct of recognition of the basic state of awareness. Short moments of rest repeated many times become automatic.

Wisdom in every moment

The tendency to fix people, places, or things in order to ensure acceptance or well-being are simply points of view that we have trained ourselves in repetitively. There is a tendency to base well-being on what others think, and constantly rearrange our behaviors to match up with some kind of ideal in order to feel okay. None of these actions have led to permanent well-being.

Well-being is ensured by the stability of the basic state of awareness. There is no need to rearrange points of view. Everything that arises is perfect just as it is. Relying on awareness equals clarity and wisdom in every moment.

Naturally

Recognition of awareness resolves all problems. Perfection is recognized as the fundamental basis of everything.

I knew examining my resentments and problems would never lead anywhere except for more pain.

By relaxing for short moments many times, you give yourself the simplicity of knowing exactly who you are and what everyone and everything is.

The only thing left to do is to be of benefit in a solution oriented way. A wide open perspective serves this naturally, completely and without effort.

Full potential

The simplicity of the natural presence of every human being is so basic and innate. By the process of short moments of awareness repeated many times, naturally and organically you gain confidence in a stability that you can count on.

In each moment you have a choice to relax as wisdom, or dig a pit of point of view. When you recognize the emptiness and insubstantiality of all points of view, then you know what they are and can fully play in the delight of wide open awareness, inclusive of all points of view.

You are never limited by any point of view and have the full potential of anything that you want to do.

A striving to be accepted based on how you should act or how you should dress or how you should be in general, is all a search in wanting to be loved.

Complete love resides in your very self. Recognize that who you are is not based on an accumulation of point of view.

Relax and know that who you are is perfect, complete, and flawless. Trust in short moments of rest, repeated many times until it becomes automatic.

Forever present

What a relief it is to know that you do not need to change yourself or anyone else in order for things to be okay. By keeping the focus on yourself and committing to short moments of rest when you remember to do so, you are giving yourself the greatest gift that anyone could ever ask for. The natural presence of the soothing energy of awareness is who you are and with this recognition, will never go away, for it has always been present throughout our entire lifetime and lovingly pervades all appearances without effort.

Rest

There is nothing to defend with the instinctive recognition of who you are as the basic state.

Constant openness, constant love, constant kindness, even wrathful clarity with force, is fueled by complete wisdom and compassion without anyone doing anything.

It is crucial to gain familiarity with the natural presence of the basic state. In doing so, confidence is gained in this stability. You recognize that this is who you are.

Being open, kind, compassionate, willing, and patient is something that you cannot achieve or contrive. These qualities are the inherent goodness of all human beings. There is no work involved, it already is.

Only by resting when you remember to do so, will this understanding come to complete fruition by the recognition that all points of view are empty, and insubstantial, never separated or apart from the basic state.

The only thing to do

The incredible naturalness and simplicity of the basic state of awareness does not require anyone to learn anything. Gaining familiarity with the fundamental condition and stability of what never changes is key to understanding one's own true nature. Taking short moments of peace, short moments of serenity, short moments of clarity, short moments of awareness, – whatever terminology you prefer – it is the only thing to do.

No difference

With the recognition of the basic state of awareness as your identity, there are no longer any boundary lines, ie: yours or mine, his or hers, – everything is experienced as the spaciousness of awareness, as one single vast expanse, the natural presence of the soothing energy of awareness. You care about others just as much as you care about yourself, there is no difference between any point to view and "I". The only way to distinctly understand this is in one's own direct experience. With each short moment of rest, you guarantee yourself instantaneous relief and begin to gain confidence in a stability that is fundamental to you and that has never separated appearances.

The movement of awareness is benefit, without work. Everything becomes so much easier, and we naturally go the extra mile.
